Bridgehead Organisation
The project is coordinated by CRUI
Foundation, appointed in 2002 by the MIUR
(the Italian Minister of Education, University and Research)
as "Bridgehead organisation" in Italy.
The first three-years pilot phase aims at the recognition and
development of a national network composed by 12 Mobility Centres
(9 university-based, 1 at APRE, 1 at the International Activities
Department of CNR and 1 at AREA Science Park).
The CRUI Foundation has the role of coordination of the project
activities and the task to define, together with the Centres,
the standards of the services which will be required at short/medium/long
term and the future actions needed to solve the problems faced.
Each country that participate to the development of the European
Network for Mobility Centres has appointed one o more Bridgehead
Organisations with the scope to coordinate the project activities.
