FONDAZIONE
CRUI
The CRUI Foundation was created in the year 2001 to operate side
by side with the Conference of Italian Universities Rectors in managing
activity directed towards achieving innovation in the national university
system. Its main objective is to contribute to the development of
the university system through the implementation of projects, experimentation
and study activities. CRUI coordinates the international partnership
of the project made of the Conference des Presidents dUniversite
Francaise and the Finnish Virtual University.
CPU
Run by the Minister in charge of Higher Education, the Conference
of University Presidents (CUP) was created on February 2, 1971 and
confirmed by law on January 26, 1984. It was created in response to
the reorganization of institutions of higher education that occurred
after 1968.
This redistribution of power gave more responsibilities to university
presidents. Along with other forums of public exchange, the Minister
created CUP, an organization run by a council of university presidents
and embodying the type of direct representation desired by members
of the education
Finnish
Virtual University
The Finnish Virtual University (FVU) is a project organization
for promoting and developing networking in universities; it is not
a new university in itself. Most of the activities take place in the
universities and in their joint projects. All 20 Finnish universities,
as well as the National Defence College, are members of the Finnish
Virtual University. |
